ABOUT

Six bands and the label that puts out their records.

Highbex is a collective of six bands from Valais, and the label that puts out their records.

Tyrmfar, Anhegony, Wizards of Wiznan, Ashes of Betrayal, A l'eQuerre and The Boogie Van cover melodic black metal, atmospheric post-metal, blackened sludge, metalcore, rock that runs from folk to metal, and stoner rock. They play the same rooms, from Monthey and Sion to Nendaz.

Highbex Records releases the collective's new music, starting with Anhegony's singles and debut EP. The bands' earlier records remain with the labels that released them, listed on the Records page.

ANHEGONY: FIRST EP, RECORDED AND WAITING FOR AUTUMN

Founded in 2024 in the heart of Valais, Anhegony sit between atmospheric black metal, deathcore and post-metal, drawing on the human psyche and the brutality of existence. The name fuses anhedonia and agony. The recording of their six-track debut is finished, the first live shows are booked, and the EP arrives in late summer.
